Fort Wayne Hotel Guest Comments
“Stayed at the Fort Wayne Hilton last weekend to visit some friends. This is the third time that I’ve stayed there and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Fort Wayne. The rooms are affordable, HUGE, and clean. Did I mention huge? Maybe I am used to staying in Chicago and other bigger cities, but I found the Hilton to be such a great value. We got a deluxe king for $119 (on a weekend night.) We honestly could have entertained 10 people in our room, it was that big. King bed, couch and 3 chairs. For a king room? Are you kidding me? And it was just the two of us. We cracked up when we walked through the door. Everyone working there was very polite and accomodating. I’ve never had a problem there. (via TripAdvisor.com)“
“This hotel is exceptional value for money when booked on Priceline and we try to stay here every time we come to Fort wayne. The hotel is in downtown Fort wayne which has been modernized and is very clean. This is an older hotel given a makeover to Hilton standards and it does not disappoint. Very comfortable rooms with excellent staff both at the front desk and in the restaurant. We have eaten at the bar and in the main restaurant. Food was very good although the menu, as you would expect from a main stream hotel is not extensive although good. Easy access to anywhere in Fort Wayne. A Number of good restaurants nearby. “Stayed 5 days over an extended 40th reunion weekend. Check-in was courteous and efficient, the rooms were spotless – with an abundance of pillows to select from. Breakfast buffet was beautiful. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We’ll be back in 5 years for the 45th! (via TripAdvisor.com)“
“First – the parking is much less complicated than most are making it out to be. Every time you enter the garage, you simply have to have the desk validate it. There is no charge. You may leave and come back as many times as you like. It really is not difficult to have your ticket validated and the staff is more than accommodating. The housekeeping staff is impeccable, courteous, and friendly. The front desk, patient and professional. Extra perks abound. There are at least a half dozen fast food within walking distance, in addition you can walk to museums, botanical gardens, churches, architectural treasures, theaters, a Class A ballpark… fine dining. I will agree the bar is a bit small… but this is truly a gem. (via TripAdvisor.com)“
“Decided to stay close to the Genealogy Center at the Allen County Public Library to do some family research. I travel with two small dogs and this was the closest pet friendly hotel. Some Hiltons offer a dog bed and water bowl and this one is part of that promotion. Room was definitely up to my idea of Hilton standards, breakfast was wonderful and parking (fee) was close by to this downtown hotel. There were small grassy areas around the hotel and nearby botanical conservatory that helped with dog walking. I took advantage of a Genealogical Package offered by the hotel which included breakfast and parking and was a very good deal. Will stay here again on my next trip to the Genealogy Center. The hotel is doing some renovation and we were given one of the newly-renovated rooms – even with the dogs! (via TripAdvisor.com)“
“The hotel was very nice. The staff was very helpful and went the extra mile to make our staff enjoyable. I will stay here the next time I am in Fort Wayne. (via TripAdvisor.com)“
“I was pleased to see the positive effects of the renovation on this property.
The hotel is a basic, traditional Hilton with some additional positives such as being connected to the convention center and the Embassy Theater.
The staff at this hotel is always friendly and ready to serve. The ladies who work at the restaurant always make us feel like we’re staying at their home with an amazing amount of ‘welcome’. (via TripAdvisor.com)”
